I’m so proud of you! You’re planning!! I know; the idea of trying to make sure everything goes perfectly can be so daunting. That's why I'm here to help you avoid some common mistakes and make sure you get the most out of your day.

These are 3 things to make sure you get pictures of on the day of your Wedding so that when you look back down the road you don’t have any regrets

Number ONE: DETAILS

One of the most overlooked wedding day photos is rings! Things like Rings, Shoes, Hair Accessories, Floral Arrangements and even Announcement Cards are a big part of your wedding. It can be easy to focus solely on portraits with so much commotion of the day, but you put so much love and effort into color coordinating, shopping and planning, make sure your Photographer gets some photos of these little details to add to your wedding Gallery!

Number TWO: WRITTEN VOWS

Vows are one of my absolute favorite shots. There's something so classically romantic about handwritten vows, and so many beautiful ways to photograph them! I promise you'll look back one day at a picture of your Bride/Groom reading their vows over before the Ceremony and shed a tear or two. I've seen so many couples type up vows to read from their phone, but I think it's important to make some time in all of the planning to write out your vows on paper. It's so much more personal; and you may even want to frame in your new home together as a reminder to each other!

Okay, number THREE: GENERATIONAL PHOTOS

This is one that is so close to my heart. I think most of us have a loved one that we want to be at our Wedding more than anything, but they aren't able to be with us. There are so many ways to add them into your day to keep them in your heart and mind on your day of ceremony and celebration. One of my favorite ways to include a passed loved one in your wedding is to incorporate a piece of jewelry or a belonging of theirs into your hair as a clip. You can also make a charm for your bouquet with their photo, wrap the flower stems with a tie that belonged to them, set framed photos of them on your display tables, or even save them a seat with their name on a place holder. However you choose to remember your loved one(s), make sure you let your photographer know about these details so they can capture the memory.

Well there you have it! Remembering these small things can help you make the most of your Wedding and give you great

memories to look back on for years to come
